"Using the Bingo program for vocabulary review is great! My students have fun, and almost seem surprised when the result is an increased vocabulary. They didn't study. They just play, and feel like they become bilingual 'by accident'." - Keith S., Vancouver, BC, Canada    (More reviews...)

Version 3 makes bingo card generation easier than ever

Version 3 of Schoolhouse Bingo brings a fresh new look with easy navigation ribbon, four new math bingo generators (percent of number, rounding numbers, metric measures, and doubles addition), a letters-of-the-alphabet identification game, an import service for word lists created in Vocabulary Worksheet Factory, the capability to combine pictures and text on the cards, and new options and functions to make bingo card generation for the classroom quicker and easier than ever.

"Between the Schoolhouse bingo program and the 10% discount at the Dollar store, I've become the most popular teacher in our building. And additionally, I've introduced the same game at summer school the past few weeks and all the kiddos have increased their math skills at an exponential rate!" - Susan S., Special Education Teacher, Seattle, Washington, USA

Designed for the classroom

The built-in random generator ensures that every bingo card is different. The cards are printed on sheets with as many as 25 bingo cards to a sheet. The multiple cards can then be used for either multiple games or for the students to play multiple cards in the same game. Call sheets that make it easy to call the game as well as check winning combinations are automatically generated for each game.

Bingo Maker: math bingo, time bingo, language bingo.

Because the bingo cards are printed on sheets of regular paper, students can simply use a pen or pencil to check or cross out the called items. This eliminates the problem of handing out and collecting markers which is often a bigger exercise in classroom control than one might think.

To add some variety to the games, the bingo cards can play either the answers or the questions. For example, your students can find the matching answers to basic arithmetic operations on their bingo cards while you call out the questions. Or your students can find the matching basic operations questions on the bingo card while you call out the answers.

You can also use pictures to create graphical bingo games. For example, call the names of polygons and students identify the matching shapes.

"Just wanted to let you know I really enjoy using both the Vocabulary Builder and Bingo Card Maker. I really appreciated having to type the vocab. words and definitions one time for each activity. This feature is a real time-saver for me! FYI - My class enjoyed playing Bingo (with their social studies words and definitions) last Friday. They even asked to play it after the next chapter." - Cal R., St. Louis, Missouri    (More reviews...)
