New in Version 4.1

This update to version 4 of Schoolhouse Test introduces handy new tools and functions.

Go To

In document view you can now quickly navigate to any page, item, or question. Simply select whether to move to a page, item, or question, enter the applicable number and click the Go To button or press enter to immediately navigate to the desired position within the document. Also added in this version is the automatic navigation from the current item in design view to the matching item in document view.

Total Pages Tag

The current page number tag was already a feature of the header, footer, and title group settings. Now a tag for the total number pages has been added as well. This means you can easily create a combination pairing the current page with total number of pages. For example, the tag combination of <p> of <tp> in one of the fields in the footer settings would provide the structure 2 of 7 in the footer of page two in a seven page document.

Page Border

With the new Page Border option you can now draw a border around your content on just the first page of your document or all of the pages. Of course you still have the choice of not having any border. Settings for the border include color, line width, and rounded corners.

Text Block with Border

Text Block with Border is a new design item that is similar to the existing Text Block but has the option to draw a border around the text which makes it ideal for special instructions or notes. Settings include border sides, color, line width, rounded corners, and padding (spacing) between the border and the text. This design item also has the option of applying settings by instance or document wide. Unlike the full Text Block which has a maximum character limit of 20,000 characters and optionally flows across multiple pages, the Text Block with Border is limited to 2,000 characters and a single page.

Filter Check-All

Added to custom filters, custom activation, and custom selection dialogs in both Design View and Question Bank, the check-all feature provides a quick way to check or uncheck all your filters with a single mouse click. Very handy if your filter criteria consists of more than a few items.
